The pictures start at the eastern end of the Ring of Kerry where we took this horse drawn tour. The tour led to this
large castle that looked like it was in the middle of a lack from the buggy. We then drove west along the north side ofthe
Ring and stopped off to see my mother's Aunt Ellie, who passed away a month later. Eventually we hit the far west end and
got off the Ring and went further west to her Aunt's old house where she would spend every summer. You coiuld see the Skellig
Rocks from the Ring of Kerry, but the little back road between her Aunt's house and the beach she used to go to. Coming over
the hill to the beach was like two curtains pulling back and revealing the Skellig Rocks and the ocean. It was an amazing
view, and the one shot of the Rocks was taken form there, though the picture doesn't come close to showing how breathtaking
the view was. The next day we got back on the Ring and headed south and east around the rest of the Ring. We stopped off
to see the oldest fort in Ireland and I had to reverse the car a couple hundred feet because that road was narrower than the
one my mom and sister are standing on. Back at the same city we started at, we spent the night and returneed to Abbeyliex.
If you ever get the chance, take that trip, but beware of narrow roads, high speeds and sheep everywhere.
